Manaslu Tsum Valley trek is one of the memorable trek which is start after driving to Soti Khola from Kathmandu. Upon your arrival, we will go around the tour of UNESCO world heritage sites tour. This trek rewards you pristine view of Mount. Ganesh Himal, Boudha Himal ranges and mighty Manaslu mountain(8163m) and other beautiful mountains. We will trek hidden valley of Buddhist monasteries, beautiful local villages, landscapes, rivers and so on.
The Manaslu Tsum valley trek is less explore off the beaten trail which is highly influenced by Tibetan culture, tradition and religion. Most of the people are Buddhist and this region was restricted area until 2008. Tsum valley area is full of mountains, deep gorges, hamlets, chortens and mani walls.

Day 01: Arrival in kathmandu and Trip Preparation
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu Airport, A representative of Himalayan Encyclopedia will wait outside of the airport with your name signage to welcome you to the beautiful country Nepal. He will take you to the hotel. In the day, there will be trip briefing. We will provide you much more information in the briefing which help you to prepare the trip nicely. In the evening you can explore touristic city Thamel. Overnight in Kathmandu Hotel.

Day 02 : Drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola
Toady we start our journey to Soti Khola which is about 141 km further from Kathmandu. We drive through Prithvi Highway with the view of terraced field, local houses, mountains, river valley and so on. The Kathmandu to Soti khola driving distance will be about 7-8 hrs. Overnight in Soti Khola.

Day 03 : Trek from Soti Khola to Machha Khola
After having breakfast, we start our trek to Machha Khola. It takes about 6-7 hrs. to reach to Machha Khola from Soti Khola. We trek through Armala, Lapubensi, Nauli Khola, Khani besi and finally reach to Machha Khola. Overnight in Machha Khola.
Maximum Altitude: 900m/2953ft
Hiking: 6-7 hrs.

Day 04 : Macha Khola to Jagat
Today after having breakfast, we start our trek to Jagat. Jagat village is situated at 1410m elevation from the sea level. We walk through Gurung village, Khorlabesi, Tatopani, Doban, Yuru Khola and Budi Gandaki valley. Overnight in Jagat.
Maximum Altitude: 1410m/4626ft
Hiking: 6-7 hrs.

Day 05 : Trek from Jagat to Lokpa
Today we trek from Jagat to Lokpa. The hiking duration will be about 6-7 hrs. depending on your speed. We pass by Sirdibas Philim village and Ekle Vatti. Overnight in Lokpa.
Day 06 : Trek from Lokpa to Chumling
After having breakfast, we start our trek to Chumling village mostly following river bank of Sheyar Khola. The distance of the trek is less than 8 km although it takes 5-6 hours to reach Chumling Village. Overnight in Chumling
Day 07 : Trek from Chumling to Chhokang Paro
Today we start our trek to Chhokang Paro with the great view of Ganesh Himal (7422m). We walk through dense pine forest and reach to Renstam Village. After this village, we walk steep to Chhokang Paro valley. This place is rich in producing barley, wheat, buckwheat, potato, millet etc. We can see Yaks, Cows and Blue Sheep. This is one of the mostly populated village than any other place of Tsum Valley Trek. Overnight in Chhokang Paro.
Day 08 : Trek from Chhokang Paro to Nile
After having breakfast, we start our trek to Nile from Chhokang Paro. We pass through mani walls, village and cultivated land. We cross the suspension bridge and reach to Rachen Gompa. We continue our journey by passing Shiar Khola. We reach to historical village of Chhule where Buddha's stupa is located. We continue our hiking to the Nile. Overnight in Nile.
Day 09 : Trek from Nile to Mu Gompa
After having breakfast, we start our day by gradually ascending to the Mu Gompa. We pass through chortens, different landscapes, open meadows. Mu Gompa is historical place where we can explore Buddhist people culture, tradition and lifestyles. Overnight in Mu Gompa.
Day 10 : Trek from Mu Gompa to Rachen Gompa
Today we start our trek to Rachen Gompa also a nunnery. This place is situated in the Shiar Khola valley of Nepal Tibet boarder. This Gompa was established 1905 and it is one of the largest nunneries in Tsum Valley region. Overnight in Rachen Gompa.
Day 11 : Trek from Rachen Gompa to Gumba Lungdang
After having breakfast at Rachen Gompa, we start our trek to Gumba Lungdang. We descend down to Chumling and passes wooden bridge over Shiyar Khola. We cross the bridge over Domje and visit herbal medicine clinic and school. We pass through pine, rhododendron and juniper trees and reach to Gumba Lungdang. Overnight in Gumba Lungdang.
Day 12 : Trek from Gumba Lungdang to Ganesh Himal Base Camp
After having breakfast, we start our hiking to Ganesh Himal Base Camp (4200m). The trail goes through forest by following Langdang Khola. We hike towards Torogumba Glacier and reach to Ganesh Himal Base Camp (4200m). We will return to Guma Kungdang from Ganesh Himal Base Camp at the same day. Overnight in Gumba Lungdang.
Day 13 : Trek from Gumba Lungdang to Lokpa
After having breakfast at Gumba Lungdang, we start our trek to Lokpa which is 5-6 hours hiking distance. We feel better than yesterday as elevation decrease about 1000m. We will be staying Lokpa tonight.
Day 14 : Trek from Lokpa to Jagat
After having breakfast at Lokpa, we continue our journey to Jagat. We continue our journey through peaceful forest. Lokpa is a small but beautiful village. If you want to surf on the internet, you can buy card from Hotel reception. Overnight in Jagat.
Day 15 : Trek from Jagat to Lapu Bensi
After having breakfast, we start our trek to Lapu Bensi. Today's trek is easier and beautiful as compared to other days. We trek down to Machha Khola and cross the suspension bridge over the Nauli Khola. We continue our trek on the bank of Budi Gandaki river and finally reach to Lapu Bensi. Overnight in Lapu Bensi.
Day 16 : Trek from Lapu Bensi to Arughat
After having breakfast at Lapu Bensi, we start our hiking to Arughat. We pass through rocky steep trails, waterfalls, cliffs and reach to Khursane. We continue our walking to the ridges of Budi Gandaki river. Then we walk to Aarughat Bazaar. Overnight in Aarughat Bazaar.
Day 17 : Drive back to Kathmandu from Aarughat
After having breakfast at Aarughat Bazaar, we return back to Kathmandu through Budi Gandaki valley. We will see local houses, terraced farms, Trishuli river and reach to Kathmandu. In the Evening, we can explore around touristic city Thamel. Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 18: Final Departure
Your wonderful journey to Nepal come to an end today. A representative of Himalayan Encyclopedia will drop to you at the airport, about 3 hours before your flight. We say Good Bye for this time and hope to see you in Nepal again for next adventure.

1.How high is Manaslu Circuit Trek ?
The starting point of Manaslu Circuit Trek is Soti Khola is 1400m and Highest Point of the Trek Larkya la Pass is 5160m .
2.How fit do I need to go trekking to Manaslu Circuit Trek ?
Manaslu Circuit Trek is moderate trek. Although, average fitness is required to complete this trek. We walk so many ups and downs through the stone path, forest and mountains side, cross so many bridges, walk along the ridges of the mountains.
3.Where am I sleeping at night ?
After walking long hours in the day in the mountains, we need to require good sleep in the night. You will sleep at the Tea houses having basic facilities. You will provide enough blankets and sleeping bags which helps to warm your bed in the mountains. Except high elevation area, you will have good sleep. In high elevation area, if you manage to sleep few hours, that will be also ok because we can sleep next day when coming down.
4.Which is the best season to Trekking in Manaslu Circuit Trek ?
Manaslu Circuit Trek can be done throughout the year. Although in the monsoon season(June & July), It rains a lot. And in the winter, it snows heavily in the high mountainous region.

- How easy or difficult Manaslu Circuit Trek ?
Manaslu Circuit Trek is moderate to strenuous trek. Lower section, you will feel easier but when we gain elevation, we might feel strenuous. In high elevation, we make our pace slow to achieve our mission.
6.Is drinking water easily available during the trek ? Is it safe ?
We can find mineral water in the Tea Houses which is 100% safe to drink. If you are using tap water for Drinking, You can use water purification tablets. Due to national park rules and regulation in some section, We cannot buy water bottles. We need to use boiled and filtered water which we can find in the Tea Houses.
7.How do we Travel from Kathmandu to Soti Khola ?
We can reach to Soti Khola by Jeep which takes about 6-7 hrs. Travel distance from Kathmandu to Soti Khola is 136Km. We drive along side of Trishuli and Marshyandi river with the specular view of local houses, farmlands, beautiful hills etc.
8.What food do we get in mountain?
We normally get local hygienic and fresh foods. Although there will be different varieties of Chinese, Continental, Indian foods. Your Guide will help you to choose the foods from the Menu.
9.What happens if I get sick in the mountain?
Having minor health issue is normal in mountains. You may have common cold, minor headache which is common in mountain. But if you have serious high altitude sickness, we have to come back. In worst case helicopter evacuation will be done.
10. what kind of accommodation we can get during the trek ?
The Tea House in the mountain will be basic. Although we can find room having attach bathroom, in some areas. you have to inform in an advance if you want more facilities room.
