Mera Peak climbing treks in Nepal (6,476 M) is claimed to be the highest trekking peak. The climb is suitable for all beginners and experienced climbers who wants to experience a pure classic mountaineering adventure. The route itself it very non technical, steep climb on the ice and snowy surface. Experienced guides are required to navigate the routes and surfaces for any crevasse or loose surfaces on the mountains for safe passage to the summit. Mera Peak is located in Makalu Barun National park in Sagarmatha zone. Mera peak is both classed as trekking and climbing peak.
This trek is less popular then other Everest region trips. Our itinerary consist of two camp strategy (Base camp and high camp) instead on one, with our aim of increasing your chances of reaching the summit and enjoying the panoramic views of the Himalaya. Mera Peak have the most widest and beautiful views of the Himalayas solely because of geographic location in the region. From the summit five 8000M + peaks are visible. The entire climb is physically and mentally challenging, but it less technically challenging compared to other peaks in the Himalayas.
