Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and flight preparation

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu Airport, a representative from Himalayan Encyclopedia will come to the airport to pick us and drop to the Hotel. In the day, there will be trip briefing with Trek leader and other members of the trek. You can ask any question about the trip and can be ready for the departure of tomorrow. In trip briefing we will provide you maximum information which helps you to prepare nicely before starting our trek. In the evening you can have leisure or explore the touristic city Thamel. Overnight at Kathmandu Hotel.

Day 2: Fly to Lukla,Trek to Phakding

The amazing Everest Basecamp Trek begins with 40 min amazing flight to Tenzing Hillary Airport Lukla. You will wake up early, have breakfast and heading off to the airport. Lukla flight normally happens in the morning, due to weather condition, which normally clear in the morning. The short flight offers you chance to view very amazing Himalayan ranges, the unbelievable geography and nature. At Lukla we will meet our other crew members, they will finish the arrangement of the luggage and we will begin our most memorable trek to phakding. The walk to Phakding is not difficult as we trek 200 m down to Lukla. The trail will be up and down through Dudh Koshi valley. On the way to Phakding we will see the mountain named Khumbilla(18900m) which is regarded as sacred mountain and never been climbed. We gradually descend until we reach phakding. Overnight in Phakding.

Day 3: Phakding to Namche Bazaar

Second day of our hike,we will follow the banks of Dudh Koshi river.We will walk through the pine forest crossing Benkar valley. We will go passing Chumoa and Monjo, we have chances to see few local community live in that places. We will reach to Sagarmatha(Everest) National park, here is the place where authorities keep the details of visitors.After that we head down to Jorsalle by crossing suspension bridge. A steep ascent from Jorsalle we will reach to last suspension bridge of today's hike at the junction of Dudhkoshi and Bhotekoshi river,from here 2 hours left to reach the Sherpa Capital of Khumbu region.

Day 4: Acclimatization day at Namche

Acclimatization day is very important in Everest trekking. The more we reach high, oxygen level in the atmosphere will be less and our body need to adapt in that environment. There are many things to do in Namche. Namche is the main center in Khumbu region. In Namche you can find ATMs, Bank, Bakery,Coffee Shop, Souvenir shops etc. Hiking to Sagarmatha National Park rewards trekkers with a sunrise view and the views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde and many other mountain. If you interested, we will go day hike through Kunde and khumjung(12401 ft) very beautiful village with Sherpa settlement and return from Everest View Hotel(3880m),from where you will have a splendid view of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Lhotse Shar and other mountains. We will down to our hotel .Overnight in Namche Bazaar

Day 5: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

Today's trek continues as the elevation slowly increases from 3440m. During a clear sky, magnificent views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse and Ama Dablam can be seen, It is absolutely stunning. The trail leads us to a pine forest where local wildlife may be spotted such as musk deer or herd of Himalayan Thar. We will be passing through the pine forests,1 hour 30 min descend leads us on the bank of Dudh Koshi River,the palce is called Phungi Thanka.Here we may stop for our lunch. After crossing suspension bridge we hike ascend to the Tengboche monastery. The uphill trail goes round and round through rhododendron forest.In the clear day the view from here is  one of the world’s most magnificent Himalayan sceneries, Kongde (6187m), Tabuche (6542m), Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse (8501m), Amadablam, Kantega and Thamserku provide an inspiring panorama as the Himalayan giants.

Day 6 : Tengboche to Manjo

After having breakfast morning down to Phungi Thanka  through forests filled with a variety of lush trees – birch, conifers and rhododendrons. Early morning view from Tengboche monastery again rewards us with tremendous views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse,Khantega and Ama Dablam. We cross suspension bridge and hike ascend to Kyanjuma(3600m) and flat way to Namche(3440m).We descend down to Manjo for overnight stay.

Day 7: Manjo to Lukla

 Our trail continue descend to Dudh Koshi valley of Chaurikharkha village. We reach to Phakding where we stayed first night. From Phakding we gradually ascend to   the way back we will have chances to explore the local people and life style, Buddhist Monasteries, Terraced farm with different crops and different flora and fauna of remote Everest region. Overnight in Lukla.

Day 8 : Fly to Kathmandu

Your successful journey come to the conclusion today. Early morning we catch flight to Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu, we can take a rest or do some souvenir shopping. If you want to visit some places or buy some souvenir our guide will help you.

Day 9: Final Departure 

Your adventure in Nepal comes to an end today! Approximately three hours before your scheduled flight, you will be transported to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure. A representative from Himalayan Encyclopedia will come to take you to the airport. On your way home you’ll have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.
