Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival  in Kathmandu.

After arriving in Kathmandu, a representative from Himalayan Encyclopedia will pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel. In the afternoon, we may take a rest or visit Himalayan Encyclopedia’s office. In the evening, there will be a welcome dinner hosted by  Himalayan Encyclopedia. For dinner, you will be served authentic Nepalese cuisine .Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu:Sightseeing and trip preparation

After breakfast we start guided tour of most historical monuments of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur which are listed in UNESCO world heritage site.We visit historical site of Pashupatinath,Boudhanath,Swoyambhunath. Swyoambhu nath is also Called Monkey temple as hundred of monkey live nearby. Durbar Square consist of lots of historical temples such as temple of living Goddess Kumari,the Jaganath Temple and kastamandap and other historical sites if time permits.In the evening we get our equipment checked by our trek leader and meet fellow participants.Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Drive from Pokhara to Phedi and trek to Australian Camp via Dhampus 
Morning wake up and have a breakfast. Then, we will  drive to Phedi which takes about 45 minutes. We will start to steep climb up with stone staircases through the Rhododendron forest until reaching lower Dhampus which takes about 1 hour. Then, we will gently climb up again passing the terraced fields and small houses. We again keep climbing up through the rhododendron forest until reaching on the ridge which takes about 1 hour. We can see very spectacular Annapurna Range and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). Then, we trek on the plain or road trail until reaching our Hotel which takes about 30 minutes. We will have a lunch with viewing mountains. After lunch, we will start gently climb up through the rhododendron and oak forests until reaching Pothana which takes about 1 and half hour. We make a short rest and keep climbing up with stone staircases until reaching Australian Camp which takes about 1 hour. We will enjoy with Sunset view over the Himalayas in the evening. Overnight in Australian Camp.

Day 3: Australia Base Camp to Sarangkot 
After breakfast, from Australian Camp we will hike through the forestry slightly descend trail Naudanda (Nine hill). Stop for Lunch and continue hike to Sarangkot. The trail following the bit easy path along hill ridge to the dense settlement with mixed ethnic groups This trek offers you spectacular mountain scenery (Mt. Dhaulagri, Annapurna , Machhapuchre, Nilgiri, Lamjung hima etc.) and enchanting view of Pokhara valley and Pokhara lake. Specially, in the night time you can see beautiful lighting Pokhara valley view.Overnight in Sarangkot

Day 4: Sarangkot to Pokhara 
It is a hiking through picturesque hill villages to the popular view point at Sarangkot. The terrace farms, the villages and above all the spectacular panoramic view from Sarangkot is simply unforgettable. We hike back to Pokhara the same day. You will have free time in the afternoon.Overnight in Pokhara

Day 05 : Drive to Kathmandu

After our breakfast we will drive back to Kathmandu which takes 6-7 hours.On reaching Kathmandu you can roam around the city and can buy gift and souvenir to take back home.Overnight in Kathmandu Hotel.

Note: Driving from Kathmandu to Pokhara takes 6-7 hours.If you think it might be exhausting,you can fly via domestic flight which only takes 25 minutes.

Day 06:Final Departure

Our journey to Nepal comes to end.A representative from Himalayan Encyclopedia will come to drop off in the airport before 3 hours to the scheduled flight. It was wonderful memory and pleasure to serve our valued customer in Himalayan Encyclopedia Treks.On the way to home, we have plenty of time to plan our next adventure in the beautiful country of Nepal.

Cost include on:
• 2 Night hotel in Pokhra including breakfast
• Kathmandu /Pokhara/Kathmandu by tourist Bus.
• 3 times meal during the hiking. (2 breakfast,3 Lunch and 2 dinners.
• 2-night lodge accommodation in trekking.
• 1 Hiking Guide
• Necessary Trekking permit and necessary paper.
